On this day, a hand on demonstration was conducted for the Vijana Basketball Club Team on the use of Electric Pressure Cookers, with a specific focus on the frying function. The event attracted 100 participants, surpassing expectations in terms of engagement and interest.
The session aimed to promote the adoption of modern, energy efficient cooking technologies among youth. Attendees were taken through a step by step guide on how to safely operate the Electric Pressure Cooker highlighting its multifunctionality including cooking, boiling, and frying capabilities. The frying function was practically demonstrated showcasing how users can shallow fry food using the appliance, replacing the need for traditional charcoal or gas methods.
As a result of the demonstration, 92% of attendees reported a clear understanding of how to use the Electric Pressure Cooker effectively, and 85% expressed interest in adopting the technology for their household use. The event was highly interactive, with participants asking questions and engaging in the practical activities, reflecting a 100% engagement level throughout the session.
